HOLY SHEEITE THAT EPISODE OF LOST WAS AWESOME – 1

Just got through watching episode 11 of the final season. JESUS that was some good shit right there. Pretty much all Alt-verse BUT in such a good-good way……. a seriously good way. GAWD I can’t wait till next week. And I just HAD to vent somewhere, so where better? Haha. Seriously… omg…..just…. I love it… I don’t wanna say anything remotely spoilery… but I do… might do under the cut…. this won’t be long anyways haha. (Added the (1) on the title in case this becomes a week occurance. There are only 7 eps left after all… *sob*…)

Hanazakari no Kimitachi e (or Ikemen Paradise or Hana Kimi)

When I first saw this on Dramawiki, the pic of all the boys put me off. As bishie harems arn’t my favourite kind of series. (Though admittedly, that was before we started watching buttloads of J-drama & stuff like Rookies where pretty much the whole cast is boys… Now I’m far more open to a reverse harem based ikemen overload haha.)

Its similar to 'Mei-chan no Shitsuji's airbrushed photo which put me off intially...somewhat superficial maybe? lol

BUT after watching a substantial amount of Honey & Clover and finding Ikuta Toma totally adorable in that, I decided to give this a whirl properly!  (Even though it was on the watch list, and I would have watched it eventually, I wanted some more Ikuta Toma, and I ain’t even finished Honey & Clover, maybe cos it got a bit depressing to watch for Ikuta’s character… he seems to get cast as the lovable underdog…) I think flicking through the Special episode and seeing some very funny stuff made me wanna watch this more too. BUT what I had no clue of whatsover, seriously, no idea, is that this was based on Hana Kimi. The semi-yaoi manga series(I thought…). The one I’d heard of but always steered clear of (not a big yaoi fan). I don’t think I clocked that it was related to Hana Kimi until I saw a streaming site listing it as Hana Kimi. Confused the crap outta me lol. And this was after I’d already downloaded the whole damn series too…

Is it wrong?

If you own a DVD, but you’re thinking about culling your collection, and want to keep a digital copy of the movie or TV series in question, is it wrong for you to download said movie/TV show? Since you’ve already paid for the movie/TV show… and more and more often, DVD’s are being released with digital copies of the movie included on the disc.

Is the ownership passed on when you sell a DVD? To a secondhand shop or someplace, since you’ve paid for it originally, even full price if you were desperate to own something, are you still allowed to keep a digital copy even after you’ve got rid of the actual DVD?

Just a random thought I had… cause I do have far too many DVD’s, most of which I hardly ever watch. Some of course I’d never get rid of, but some, like the naffer of Colin Firth movies, I could see myself parting ways with more happily, BUT what if I wanted to watch them after I’d sold it on… spose theres a similar dilemma with games too… I don’t have the heard to trade in any of my games as I always ask myself ‘what if I have the urge to play that game and I don’t have it anymore?!’ I’d be kicking myself of course…

Doctor Who – Make way for the Moff

Yes its a cap from the BBCA ad, but I couldn't find a decent HD qual UK trailer at short notice, will replace with a screencap from the ep once its downloaded, its been watched, recorded & now dl'd. And I live in the UK... so whats the point really lol?

Ok, I liked it. Alot. Lets face it, I was never gonna not like it, its got the great Steven Moffat as head writer now. Not a bad switch up at all. Cos I LOVE his work. And Matt Smith I grew accustomed to by rewatching Ruby in the Smoke & Tiger in the Well. And any YT vids I could find, not much Moses Jones sadly, would like to have seen more of that before new Who began. He is good. Very good. He’s got the required sparkle to be the Doctor. Karen Gillan seems lovely. The series loses one Scot and gains 2 the replace him lol, even if one is the writer lol. I *think* the murse will be in it more… but you can’t tell if it’ll be Geoff(?) or Rory so far…
First ep was a bit ‘Girl in the Fireplace’ but I can understand why Moffat might have wanted to elaborate on that story a bit, was a nice idea even if the 1st ep had the Doctor totally abandoning Rose(with no way back that he knew of) for some random wench he barely knew. Never forgiven Moffat for that…

EDIT: Forgot to say, like the interior of the TARDIS better now I’ve seen it on film, the promo photos I saw last week made it look awfully cheap lol. But it looks all goood now. Good on Confidential too

BUT all in all, very good. Can’t wait for next week I want to watch ep one again… odds are I will… tonight… while DSing.

New Who – 3 hours & counting…

Because I have a darling TARDIS model, makes the noise & everything, way better than the money bank version, and I have many figures, toys, plastic things, I thought I’d have a play. In honor of the beginning of season 5 of Doctor Who, with Matt Smith as the new Doctor(THE DOCTOR, thats his name, NOT ‘Dr Who’ really pisses me off when even folks in the media can’t get it right *sigh*…) and Karen Gillan as the new companion AND most importantly to me, Steven Moffat as the new head writer!! :WOOOOP:. Lost one Scot, gained 2 others, not all bad, but I wish the Doc was Scottish lol. One day… And if you don’t know what Doctor Who is, FOR SHAME! And proceed here forthwith.

Borrowed my brother Yuki for this, regretting leaving all my Figma at my uni accomodation now lol.
