She arrived just in the nick of time really, just before I came back to Leicester on sunday. She arrived in a huuuuge box. Biggest box I’ve got through the mail I think hehe. Biggest figure box too I think… she seems bigger than 1/6th scale, in my opinion, but I don’t have as many 1/6th as I do 1/8th, so could be wrong. Definately my biggest figure to date though.
I’ll have to box her back up for transporting on sunday, but I couldn’t not open her XD She’s too pretty. She is magnificent. A fine specimen. She’s got a great figure for a figure XD Tony Taka art is good like that, they’re not scarily Clamp thin lol.

Fraulein Revoltech Rin Tohsaka – My 1st Figure Prize :D

On Friday I got a big surprise in the post. My Rin Tohsaka Fraulein that I won from Akihabaka had arrived. WAAAAY earlier than anticipated XD. It was only posted 4 days previously. Canada to England in 4 days, not using any fancy expensive kinda postal service. Just normal post. How the hell did it get here so fast? o.O I think its Canada, last time I got something from Canada it got here really quickly too XD. Love Canada <3

New Who – 3 hours & counting…

Because I have a darling TARDIS model, makes the noise & everything, way better than the money bank version, and I have many figures, toys, plastic things, I thought I’d have a play. In honor of the beginning of season 5 of Doctor Who, with Matt Smith as the new Doctor(THE DOCTOR, thats his name, NOT ‘Dr Who’ really pisses me off when even folks in the media can’t get it right *sigh*…) and Karen Gillan as the new companion AND most importantly to me, Steven Moffat as the new head writer!! :WOOOOP:. Lost one Scot, gained 2 others, not all bad, but I wish the Doc was Scottish lol. One day… And if you don’t know what Doctor Who is, FOR SHAME! And proceed here forthwith.

Borrowed my brother Yuki for this, regretting leaving all my Figma at my uni accomodation now lol.

Interesting finds…

Maybe not interesting for you, but they are for me lol. Maybe more nostalgic than interesting though… either way, was hunting through my room for a blue pencil case thats filled with my phone charms & danglies, cos my dad moved it from where I always left it. Took bloody ages, but *finally* found it in a box under my bed, right at the back very helpfully, long as my arms are, ain’t easy to scrabble round for heavy-ass boxes lol.

In the process I of searching, I also found some of the many Pokemon models I made out of Fimo when I was younger, and some of my own creations, but in keeping with the Pokemon theme of late, I’ll just show them, and some other stuff from anime franchises from my childhood lol.

Fail-figure: Gutto Kuro Figure Collection Nogizaka Haruka

Now… because I’m such a sucker for Haruka-chan… I literally preordered this as soon as it went up online, BUT what I should have done was seriously consider the quality, since the other Gutto Kuru figures weren’t fantastic… but I decided to disregard it and hope for the best.
