I remember reading some of the manga yeeeeaars ago on Spectrum Nexus. And thinking ‘My god this is gross!’. Yet I kept reading, I haven’t read it all by anime means, but I knew the basic premise. So when I noticed ‘Gantz‘ listed on Kenichi Matsuyama’s AMW, I was all ‘YAY!!’. I mean, anything of Matsuken’s is *YAY* but a movie based on a manga that I’d actually read. *Huzzah!* I waited over a year for this movie. From November 2009 to… well it was released in January in Japan, and America got special (dubbed lol but grrrr) showings, but I couldn’t see it until recently. I was interested to see if they could mirror the levels of goryness that the manga had. I’ve not seen the anime so I can’t comment on that, but the manga was super gory, and the chapter graphics were generally buxom ladies wearing part of the Gantz bondage suits. (Come on, you know they are, tight black PVC? You know it crossed your mind!!) The movie got them right. And the guns. Ohh the guns are cool.

GANTZ – Live Action (Somewhat NSFW+Little Spoilers)
October 23, 2011Hmmmmmm… (Whoa.. 400th post, didn’t realise XD)
December 6, 2010Yes… I’ve once again neglected Itonami-chan… and I’ve yet to decide if I’m gonna update all in one go, or schedule little updates over the next few days…. might be better… Because it’ll cover a multitude of things. Many-many things… Including…
- What I’m watching, anime/J/Kdrama wise.
- Days out, because I seem to have fun stuff going on quite often…
- Everyday stuffs. Ya know. Less fun, but still pretty awesome.
- Fangirling. Because I just gotta. And I’ve MANY reasons to fangirl over the past few months.
- Games. Because being in the Games society at my uni (Demon Gamers) has got me playing more often now XD
- Internet. Pure satanical evil of the internet. The worst possible distraction ever. Which is why I sometimes just put the cable in a draw XD Saves me from the distraction…
- Lastly, TV and movies. Not the most important here, but still, I love it, and I need to vent, and sometimes Tumblr just won’t do XD.
Righto, well now I have stuff listed out, I’m gonna get right on that
D. Anime first I thinks…
Also… 400. Huh. Totally slipped my mind that was coming up lol.
This just in ~
October 19, 2010So… this is a like a giant/mass report on the last month pretty much. Everything thats happened and everything thats going to happen in the next few weeks. I think…
So, I’ll start off with the fact I’m back at uni :woop: Living in student digs free from the reign of the parentals! Exact same room as last year, one of the same roommates, but one went awol just after christmas, so we have a new one. Still assessing… might be a bit too chavvy/noisy for our liking :\
Course wise, you may not know I switched. From Animation Design to Graphic Design & Illustration. Just lots and lots and LOTS of drawing. Which is goooooooood. Takes up a fair amount of time, but thats cool. I’m managing to balance the education with the recreation. Skip below the cut to see what I’ve been up to

Inception – The two and a half hour long mindf**k
July 17, 2010Saw Inception on Friday(tis Saturday for me already, may still be Friday for you). It was awesome. Very awesome. I love movies (and TV) that mess with your head. Its one of, if not, my favourite kind. And boy does Inception screw with your head… XD In a very good way ofc, and I’m betting even the dumbest/dippiest/dopiest person will be able to understand it, seeing as it goes at a fairly gentle pace and doesn’t throw everything at you at once XD (Do NOT read ahead if you don’t want to be spoiled, because I tell you now, there will be some. Not many, but I can’t say much without giving some things away…)
Is it wrong?
April 4, 2010
(Not that I would ever get rid of any of my John Cusack collection, just using this as an example pic. Damn I need Pushing Tin...)
If you own a DVD, but you’re thinking about culling your collection, and want to keep a digital copy of the movie or TV series in question, is it wrong for you to download said movie/TV show? Since you’ve already paid for the movie/TV show… and more and more often, DVD’s are being released with digital copies of the movie included on the disc.
Is the ownership passed on when you sell a DVD? To a secondhand shop or someplace, since you’ve paid for it originally, even full price if you were desperate to own something, are you still allowed to keep a digital copy even after you’ve got rid of the actual DVD?
Just a random thought I had… cause I do have far too many DVD’s, most of which I hardly ever watch. Some of course I’d never get rid of, but some, like the naffer of Colin Firth movies, I could see myself parting ways with more happily, BUT what if I wanted to watch them after I’d sold it on… spose theres a similar dilemma with games too… I don’t have the heard to trade in any of my games as I always ask myself ‘what if I have the urge to play that game and I don’t have it anymore?!’ I’d be kicking myself of course…
