Recommendations please?

So recently finished SAO. Last week, watched the last episode on sunday as usual, but twas my birthday. Now waiting for MOAR XD. Gawd SAO was good. There has to be another series, or like OVA’s or movies. Need…. more… now…

But while I/we wait, need a new series to watch on a weekly basis. Hopefully something new-er, maybe currently airing. But long as we control ourselves we should be able to keep to one ep a week… maybe something mystery or horror based… or… like… psychological. I’m not sure. Long as it’s good. Want something as awesome as SAO. Can be cutesy or whatever really. Considering Gundam Unicorn. But that’s like an hour each.

So. Suggestions please?

Mass Update Raging – No.6, Fringe, Tonari no Kaibutsu-kun, K & Rabu Kare

TV… y u must irk me so…

So I’ve found myself raging at TV and anime this week. Either due to stupid things happening in them, or things I do not approve of, or both. Or more. So here. Do with this as you will…. Rage and spoilers within… I try to keep specifics out of it, apart from with No.6 where I had to… sorry XD

No.6 – I am not a number, I am a free-oh wait, wrong show… ^_^

I always love when I stumble upon new shows. And yesterday when on ANN I saw the review page for No.6. Not sure what exactly about the synopsis grabbed me, I think it was the fact that the whole walled districts separated out into social groups/standings, reminded me of ‘The Wind Singers’ premise. A series of books I read years ago and looooooooved(and will now find online somehow…).

I’m on episode 4 already, just finished 3. It seems to be one of those shoes I MUST SEE ALL OF AS SOON AS POSSIBLE! *gnashes teeth*. I am loving it. I love dystopian futures. I love futuristic settings. I love when they have to leave their perfect world and get thrown into the dystopian part. (Some spoilers for eps 1-3, tread with caution :3)

K – Giant floating swords and invisible naked cat girls

So. K. Hmm. Ep 1 definitely seemed a little… hectic… random… whatever the word… I was a little confused… maybe more than a little. Only on ep 2 did I get into it more. And accept it’s… oddness. Cos it is. Odd. The style. The animation(in places). It’s kinda artsy. It is a beautiful series. Beautifully designed. Gorgeous to watch. But I’ve got to ep 3…and we’ve jumped back to a part of ep 1… with the giant floating swords, which was one of the parts that confused me most. And then that part where the naked girl ran through the school.

I love how in anime you can see them through clothes, but if they’re wearing less, BAM. Gone.

Haganai – Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai – Unsocial folk trying to be social?

Pretty anime is pretty. Sena is so cute XD

So I decided to give this a try after seeing a really cute figure of one of the characters, Sena.

Seems to be about a group of unsocial students. Who get more social together. In a school club. In a church. Righto…

Sword Art Online – SAO – Making me wanna play MMO’s SO BAD XD (Some spoilers~)

So. SAO. Of the anime I’ve seen over the past few months (Another, Tsuritama, Accel World, few others) this is probably the one that grabbed me fastest. I mean I loved MMO’s before, and this just made me re-love them. And want to play MOAR. (So I/we went looking at picked Eden Eternal lol)

And I knoooooooow loads of people are watching. Even one of my students (who also watched & read Accel World) was watching and reading it(light novel origin like Accel World, which I later found out was written by the same dude XD)

Anyways. Yes. SAO. GAWD I want an MMO like that. Minus the being trapped and the possible death of course. But GAWD I would love such an immersive one. With much hacking and slashing. (Below the cut, smut, spoilers and stuff)
