Otacool 3 – Workspaces

Its that time of year folks! Time to get your camera’s charged and at the ready! For submissions for Otacool 3 are open This Otacool is all about workspaces , be they at work or at home, but more often than not, its gonna be where your computer is situated XD, unless you’re Chun… where ‘workspace’ entails so much more than just a computer :3 Go here to see what I mean if you don’t already know

My entry for Otacool 3 has been posted up to Figure.fm. Might change some of the pictures… might not… will see… fading light is such a bitch sometimes XD But its there. Only posted a few pics here, not final ones either, the proper ones are on Figure.fm.

Gelgoog-otousan Complete

Finally got outside to take some pics before the light started to dim.

 Finished off using a dark grey Gundam Marker (GM38), grey artist brush pen(with lots of pigment in the ink), black 0.05 pigment pen and flat matt plastic varnish, or more commonly to gunpla makers, topcoat. Of course the dry transfers too, applied before the topcoat was, thougth that’d be best.

Sieg Zeon!!

Last week I ordered me some Gundam Markers, the Zeon set from Gundam Mad*, seeing as Zeon’s rock most, obviously lol. And I gots em today! :woop!: When I looked to see what kinda nib it was I was like, ‘uwhaaaa?’ and had no clue what to do with em lol. But then I remembered the guide thing I found here, on Chubbybots blog. His tutorial on removing the nubs is brilliant too. Helped me no end. Though I still need to get some Tamiya Polishing Compound, no worries though, since I know where I can buy it online lol, since its illegal here hehe. More below the cut!! Go on, you know you want to!! lol

Went outside to take some pics of my newest Zeon MS and got harrassed by cats at the same time lol.

MS-14B/C Gelgoog Canon – Part 1

On sunday night, I started building my newest Gelgoog, a 1/100th scale Master Grade, biggest so far. Today is wednesday. I haven’t been building it every waking hour of the day.

Sunday night I made part of the arms and the head. Was very late, so didn’t get much done.

Oh, I also found a nice little tool set, with a pair of side clippers like I needed, and better file than I had, plus some tweezers and a needle file. Didn’t get anything done monday cos I wanted the tools before I continued. Few more pics below.

Cos the blog had a major fit when I added extra stuff to the previous post, I’ve decided to just add another post, tis less fuss. I copied the stuff which I added, makes it easier for me lol.

I didnt buy the Lucky Star Petit Nendoroids blind pack, you could choose on the site which you got. I picked Kagami, cos I wuv her, and the pretty one with pink hair(cos she was my free one!!!)

Once again, sorry for my crap camera….That there be a photo of my 1/6th Asuka, from 2005 or sometime…. quite old. But big. And pretty. And good value. And NOT fake lol. Twas from a UK ebay seller after all. This purchase wasn’t part of my great debit card haul. I just couldn’t resist and used my mums paypal account once again lol. You can see that her dress is translucent so you can make out her blue pantsu. She came with 2 faces and 2 hair styles and 2 arms. Very good value for £18($36) I think….
