I know what I’m doing after university. I’m going to Japan. Its been decided. Spent ages talking to a friend bout it tonight, they’re the one who told me about the program(will get to it), so THANK YOU!! You know who you are ;D

TAIYAKI! Finally I got to try some XD

Had an awesome time with Purplezest. Got some awesome lootage too. It was kinda, unintentionally a Japanese-themed trip XD, all the stuff we ended up doing/seeing hehe, didn’t get to the Namco center though, one giant arcade seemed like enough somehow XD Had much fun spotting Pudding too And we saw a guy on the tube who looked scarily like Robert Downey Jr… XD

Theres Full House & some Banjun Drama for the K-drama so far, but its harder to get lol, and we’re picky.

We started out with movies first though, Shindo, Koizora, Detroit Metal City, Aquarian Age, I’m a Cyborg, but thats OK, not in that order lol. Theres still more to watch though, but TV has distracted us…

Japanese Boy Candy + a suprise inside!

Since I got my friend into the Death Note movies, she’s developed a taste for Kenichi Tatsuyama and Tatsuya Fujiwara. I must say, she has excellent taste! lol.

Ever since I saw Battle Royale(age 13) Tatsuya has been on my ‘Height does not apply’  list (will explain if need be)lol. Kenichi however is *literally* on the cusp, at 180-185cm(depending on which site, his official page says 180cm, but I’d prefer to think 185, cos thats pretty much my height lol. (Suprise inside is at the bottom lol)

Meishi

A while ago in my Japanese lesson, we had an activity thing where we exchange home-made business cards. I got 4 lol. All from the Japanese students who were helping with Junko-san’s class heheh. I got one from my favourite, Hitomi-chan! She helps with the class every week. She’s so sweet! And her husband works for Sunrise. She saw my blog and was so happy! She watches Clannad After Story too, amongst other stuff. I’d brought my Kagami figma a while before too. Gah, she’s so kawaii!! She’s quiet, reminds me of Nogizaka Haruka in some ways… reserved and polite and super-moe! AND she can draw! So well! Such cuteness….

Some people in the class were from other parts of East Asia. I can't remember exactly where Vicky was from... I know someone was from Seoul.... but that name looks Chinese...doesn't it?

I know that one should be rotated 90 degrees clockwise…. lol. I forgot to, and I’m doing this quickly. Got stuff ta do! Rainbow drops to buy.

Fruit bowl in Maya 2008 (My 132nd post!!!)

Our task this week(on my animation course, if you didnt know lol) was to colour/render a premade fruitbowl, and try to get it looking as realistic as possible. Here be mine;

We were given most of the skins we needed(we didnt get the grape or lime, though it wasn’t specified what the limes were, coulda been plums, but making it look fuzzy turned out to be too tricky atm…), it was more about lighting it right, and making the shine on the items of fruit and stuff look alright.  Yes the leaves and stalks and stuff look naff, but thats not what I was concentrating on…. I wanted to get the grapes in particular looking good. And I never realised how much the actual lighting makes a difference. They looked naff before adding the spot lights n stuff.

A top view of the fruit bowl. It’s more a plate really lol. We had a choice of like 4 plate designs, 2 japanese, one plane metallic, and one other blue patterned affair. Of course I went for the gaudiest of the bunch. I did this pretty much a week ago now… Just had to touch it up a bit today… I kept forgetting to transfer it to my laptop so I could post it on facebook…. I keep forgetting… I did that for the spaceship and the animal too…

Anyways. Thats my fruit bowl. I’ve got loads of work to do this week…. way too much…. flipbooks of feathers falling, anvills falling, walking, a street or room to render…… oh the workload…. but I must do it!!! For the good of mankind! And my career!!! lol
