List of Pure-Want : Part 1

July 31, 2008

Those long months of dying to get figures I could never get because I didnt have access to the websites are now OVER! Forever!! From now on, I am able to order and preorder my hearts (many) desires!! So, relating to that, I have compiled a list. A list of figures which are very easily available to me that I want or have wanted for ages but was not able to buy. I’ve listed them so the top priority is at the top. (Preorders are not in the list of priorities because they don’t have a chance of going out of stock like some of the ones that are in stock.) I will preorder the preorders that I want, then wait for them to be released, so they’re not a money problem right now.

I can only order from certain sights, not HobbySearch sadly… but HobbyLinkJapan has everything I want!! So it’s all good!! Now for the list!!! EDIT: I will be getting these one by one probably, as I get paid every two weeks lol. MF Haruhi should be here tomorrow, and Nendoroid Miku has been ordered!!

Senko no Ronde: Pec Champo 1/8 Scale PVC Figure

In first place on my list of Want we have the delectable Pec Champo. Who I first encountered on DannyChoo’s site. I just love her pose, her face, the bright pink see-through dress is adorable too!! And at £32, £37 with shipping, I must have her!!!! Finally!!!

Montauk Monster – Viral-much?

July 31, 2008

My bro showed me this earlier on the Gawker site, first thing I thought of was a Cloverfield 2 related viral. But then I did some research. It definately sounds like its a viral campaign of some sort. I hoped it would be something to do with the second Cloverfield installment, but it looks like it has something to do with a new Cartoon Network series, Cryptoids are Real. I don’t know if or when the UK would get it, but it looks pretty cool.

The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya Special Edition Vol 2

July 31, 2008

This is the second installment of the Special Edition Haruhi UK DVD release.

With this volume you get another CD, another pencil board, another transfer, this time of Haruhi(in colour, not the Haruhiism), a bonus DVD with the first 5 episodes of Haruhi in broadcast order, Japanese audio only, which is fine. I dont really like the english Hideki(from Chobits) as Kyon-kun… Not only do you get all that, but you get….

The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya Special Edition DVD Vol 1

July 30, 2008

I thought I’d that do a review-kind thing of the SE Haruhi DVD’s released in the UK recently, since at least one person asked what you got with the rest of them after I posted the pillow case you get with the 3rd volume.

The first volume, which cost me £30(£50 RRP) on Amazon.co.uk(where I have bought the later volumes also). Usually, I would NEVER spend this much on anime DVD’s, in the UK they usually cost around £20 per volume in places like HMV and Virgin. But the allure of the Special Edition goodies was too much to resist. And I had seen what you got when it was released in American in 2006!!!! (Thats right, we’re two years behind!!! UK is always behind… France is ahead of us with Fruits Basket…then again France is ahead in lots of anime/manga-related ways. (They have manga in SUPERMARKETS!!!!)

Volume one comes in this delightful box.

Which has space for all 4 volumes AND some of the extra goodies you get.

Kira Kira Pop Princess – Pinky Street?!?

July 29, 2008

I had no clue…. honestly no idea that this game had ANY relation to the Pinky Street figures AT ALL. I just thought they were cute character designs and a tad familar. I never thought they were Pinky Street for a minute…… I should have seen the resemblence… GAWD I’m clueless sometimes… In the UK, the game was released as Kira Kira Pop Princess. And in Japan there were two versions of Kira Kira Music Hour. I assume that the western version was just a combo of both, since the girls from both version covers are on the western front cover.

I’ve always considered buying this when the price came down low enough, it was on £15 last time I checked. (Thats what I got Izumi – Legend of the Unemployed Ninja for too) But I bet I can wait till it goes down more, since it’s not the kind of game that will do horrendously well in the UK, is it? I’ll have a proper look in Gamestation next time I go to Norwich. Search through the 2nd hand stuff too, get the lowest price possible, since I need all the money I can for figures.

Time for some screenshots. The graphics actually look alright. And very cute. Alot better than I thought they would anyways.

Ooooo dancing. I like the idea of dance/rhythem games, but I havent really played one...
