London Expo Cosplay

On sunday, I vowed to ignore the stalls(for the most part) and just get many, many photos. Which I did. Not all decent enough to post here, I need a better camera… I do….. GAH…. And beware… theres a shock at the end of the post….

There were game characters…

There were eroge characters! Which I was uber-happy about! (Misuzu!!!) I even saw some cosplayers of Shuffle and Otome wa Boku ni Koishiteru(I think…)

Manga/anime characters and more! (Love this Sakura’s outfit, hairs not right, but its still a great outfit.)

Rosette from Chrono Crusade.(I spelt Rosette right, right? She is Rosette….right? I’m too lazy to google all these characters I’m not sure of the names.) And some character from Bleach.

Apparantly a character from the Chronicles of Riddick.

London Expo Weekend – Figures + Cosplay + More!

Expo has now come and gone. And so has over £250 of my money. But all to a very good cause!! Which you will see later on.

This is the first time I’ve been to both days of the Expo. Usually I just got for the sunday, cheaper travel and alot less people. I didnt realise just how many less people went on a sunday… Saturday was so busy….. too busy…. So busy I’m almost definately never going on saturday again…. We got to the Excel Center a little later than we wanted… because one of our group got lost.(They weren’t travelling with us to begin with, we met up at the hostel we stayed at.) So… we got there just before they should have stopped selling fast track tickets… but they’d stopped early…. so we had to join the MASSIVE normal entry queue….. which we were stuck in for just over an hour I think… might have been more… I can’t remember well… have blocked it from my mind….

After we got in the queue people continued to turn up… it was insane… And we didnt start moving properly for AGES…. it was so boring…

Finally…. So nearly there…. Along the way I did get some shots of random cosplay though. Not all bad being stuck in the queue.

Name that Twilight Princess character…. since I’ve forgotten her name… lol It’s a really awesome outfit though. Great headpiece.

London Expo – TOMORROW!!!

Thats right!! The wait is almost over!!!! But that does mean I won’t be able to post anything untill sunday evening.

It’s gonna be sooooo awesome!! I hope theres some cool cosplay!!! Like Hatsune Miku! Theres gotta be a Miku going….. I am gonna take many-many pictures. Hopefully I’ll get some of the Heroes panel, and the Primeval panel, and Merlin etc. Will be soooo awesome!! AND Gaiaonline will be there!!! I hope they’ll have the merchendise there!! Will save ordering online lol.

London Expo – 2 days to go!!!

2 days till Expo!!!!! RAWG!!! Getting totally stoked!!!!! I’m just trying to figure out which figures I hope to purchase….. I do hope they have the Hatsune Miku Figma there…. and I can see how big the GSC Miku is too. BUT one of the ones I want most is the Nono-chan from Yotsuba!!! I hope to god she’s available there… for under £30….. She’s soooo cute! And I would love a Tsurya-san…. I’m gonna try and optimize my spending…. maximum figures for minimum amount, so I’ll make my usual rounds to each stall, then go back for my choices, hope to god they’ll still be there… I did that with the Himekuri Girl and she had completely disapeared…. For £10 its not unexpected…. Lucky I got her for about the same price a little earlier on this year.

This Expo there are soooo many awesome actors going!!! 4 members of the cast of Primeval(british tv series on ITV), 4 members of the Heroes cast, including Greg Grunberg!! :wooooot: Cast members and creators from Merlin, and cast and creators of a new series called Demons, about vampires apparantly. AND, I totally forgot, that Ben Barnes dude from the new Narnia, he played Prince Caspian in Prince Caspian!! I haven’t seen it, but he’s cute! Brad Swaile(voice of Raito(Light) Yagami is gonna be there too.

London Expo – 3 DAYS!!!!

This saturday the autumn London Expo starts!! A weekend sure to be filled of geekism and otakument!! I’ve been…:counts:… 3 4 times? I think its 4… once when I was 13…. then 15…. then twice in the last year. (Since I got my job.) (For those who don’t know, its a bit scifi convention.)

For the first time I’m going on both days, staying in London!! :woop: Usually I only got sunday, because it’s less busy. I probably miss out on alot though…. I will find out what saturdays are like. Meant to be way busy….not fun, but more merchendise = FUN!!! Anyways, anime society meet now. Then I’m going to see Mirrors….:shudder:

Busou Shinki Studio

Got round to playing with the BS Studio a couple of days ago. Didn’t do too much, as it was late, just took a while to download the updates is all…

I’ve been buried in Uni work atm, lots to do. Like 7 hours of drawings from still life. And a flip book. And an essay we can’t actually write yet because we don’t know nearly enough about this ‘Limey’ movie.

This is just a tester I made very quickly in Photoshop. First time I’ve used photoshop in years literally… Haven’t used it since I was like 13-14ish at school. And that was only a trial version. I’ve used programs like photoshop for years though. So I’m competant with it so far.
