Max Factory Ayu Tsukimiya 1/8th Figure

I chose colder lighting because I thought it fit well with Kanon, set in Winter n all.

Today I got round to taking some half-decent pics of my new Ayu Tsukimiya. She is gorgeous. Stunningly well made, great accesories, the wings, I love the wings. Pearlescent clear pink….look so fantastic.

Today I found out that one of my favourite recurring characters,Denny Duquette, from Greys Anatomy, is playing The Comedian/Edward Blake in Watchmen. His name is Jeffrey Dean Morgan.

SLR Figure Photography

I got my photos back from the shop! The actual prints look awesome, but the high res look a bit grainy…. definately using 100 ISO film next time…. which might be later this week. On some of them I did a bit of photoshopping, just adjusting the colour, I don’t know how to get rid of grainyness lol. And it seems like the lower aperture(ones with out of focus background)have less grain than those with a higher aperture.

I again, had to take pics of Fumie, because I love her.

This was taken using low aperture, soft focus background.

 

SLR Practice

(Please note, this is not a digital camera I’m using. I’m using a plain old fashioned Nikon AF NIKKOR 28-100mm.(I think thats its name, if not, its Nikon F65 lol) No screen, no iso controll I know of…. that I’ve been taught of… if there is, someone tell me lol.)

Yesterday I’d got round to scanning my best SLR pics from the first shoot, from Castle Gardens. And the next set I did over yesterday and today I got on CD aswell as 6×4″ photos, so no scanning needed lol.

The first pics I’m gonna post are the scanned photos, my favourites at any rate. And this was my first time fiddling with an SLR camera. So I’m suprised more of them weren’t blurry or complete rubbish lol, only a few of the 72(2×36 exp) came out bad lol.

Probably one of my favourite pics. Because I got the flower in the center in focus but not all the rest, which was my aim lol. I think...
