Today I went round with a friend who was doing the photo work I did on friday, using the big ol’ SLR camera’s. (My grandad on my fathers side loved camera’s, according to my father, there are some in the barn, with lots of lens and stuff. My dad is gonna have a look for me, will be cool, even if it is older, still an SLR!!) So, after the park… we went to the castle gardens, and got ambused by squirrels… really tame ones… I wish I hadn’t eaten all my Curly Whirlie…. but Katie had one left!! So we started experimenting…
Fast moving little critters, I’m glad I got any of them lol, and that came out this clear. (This is using my Cybershot though lol, Katie had the big SLR lol)

So... as you can see, squirrels do eat Curly Whirlies. Whether or not they're meant to, or can...is another matter... but they seemed to like it.
lol, I can’t believe I got these pics… its insane….. Now some more, less sqirrely pics.

I like that I got lens flare, I took some other shots of it too, my friend was using it for perspective lol.
It was bloody freezing outside…. the clear blue sky causes that….no cloud cover. Pretty though.

So thats it for now. I've got my photos developed, and will scan them in probably, to save them lol.
I’m off now. Things to do, sleep to be had… dragged out of bed this morning to accompany her…arg…… I don’t have to be out of bed early tomorrow though lol. Haven’t got lessons till 2. And its more photography!! Mega-yay! I’m really enjoying it, I didn’t think I would!

Aw so cute! And they actually tried to climb up your friend’s leg haha. Down here they just all run away before you even get within 10 meters.

@M132: LOL, nice shots. Gahh, I always forget to tuck my Cybershot into my coat pocket or something when running around. Cellphone-cam is too unpredictable, lol.

In my opinion working with SLRs, the older it is the easier it is to handle.
I had a Pentax from 1982 that I used during my photography class, and it never busted once.
Yeah it’s a little more work to do all the stuff newer fancy ones can do, but less automatic mechanical parts means less chance of something small breaking and putting the camera out of commision.
THOSE SQUIRRELS ARE AWESOME!!!!! I love animals that come right up to you.
