Ahhhh it is a glorious day!! Even if it is the day before the due date of some coursework lol. Tis the day when I can tick off ‘Dakimakura cover’ off my ‘Otaku-Must-have’ list!!

A few weeks ago I bought the Degenki G’s Festival no.15 from the great Actar of ‘Actars Reviews‘ when he was selling stuff to raise more cash for figures, much like I should be doing really… I needs more money… otherwise I’ll have to majorly cull my buying habits…
Anyways…. back on track… bought the Degenki’s G’s Festival no.15 and I got it today, I had it sent to my uni address on purpose lol. Not really meant to be spending loads…. but this was a must-have…. since me likes Yoake mae yori ruri iro na, Estel especially, but Feena is mucho cute too. So it was a fairly impulsive buy, but more opportunist than impulse, since I’d wanted it before hehe.
Now I admit, the dakimakura cover was the main incentive to buy, but any other bonus goodies were mucho welcome. Very cute mousepad with Estel on, and a little screen cleaner dangly that has a character I don’t know on it.
Seems so surreal to finally have one.... awesome, but surreal lol.
Not fully unfolded, not enough room on the bed at that moment lol, still not fully unpacked.
Finally, on the pillow. Where it belongs.
Won’t remain there long though. Will be packed up safely most likely untill I find a suitable display method, probably the one Danny is using on the Mirai dakimakura cover.
The print quality is very good.
The material is a good quality, thin, but not too thin. I’d much rather prefer the Dakimakura covers were a cotton-y material than a satin-y/shiney kinda material. More like a normal pillow cover that way. (I need to get just a normal plain colour pillow cover for it actually…. can’t have it just naked all the time. Is cruel lol.
Bottom left corner has the name of the series and character. Feenaaaaaa!
Now I’m right in thinking Moonlight Cradle is an expansion on the original game, with extra content and stuff, ne? (Just checked the wiki page, says its a PC remake of the PS2 port of the original game released in 2005 lol)
The cover is actually 155cmx50cm. 5cm longer than my pillow, but thats nothing lol. It is only one side. But I couldn’t care less lol. I have one. And its a character I actually know, and its really pretty, and not really ecchi either! Tis a great choice for my first Dakimakura cover! And I’m still soooooooo glad I saw the Classified ad that Actar posted before anyone else posted an offer lol.

nice, I just got this one last month and it was my first too ^^, but unfortunately I haven’t managed to acquire a pillow so she’s hanging on the wall. Actually I just posted about mine last night XD I’m planning on making my own pillow, but I’m not sure how well that’s going to work out 😡

Got it last month without hesitation. It’s my first Dakimakura and always, I wanted Feena to be my first one and I was so happy.
I love the silk quality. Very Very smooth to hug. xD

Well if you read all that I wrote, you’d know I bought it off Actar via Dannychoo.com. Theres ebay where you can get them. Import ofc, and if you want this exact thing, jbox or jlist sell it.

Ah, great get. I needs a dakimakura myself, but haven’t seen one that blows me away…the closest one to blowing me away was probably Eika Ichijo from Sky Girls. Great get nonetheless.

I don’t have a dakimura myself but I’ve been thinking about getting one. Not to put on a pillow, but to hang on a wall. I need more wall decorations!
