Hatsukoi Limited – The Story so far…

So far I’m really enjoying it, 5 episodes in.  It’s got fanservice… but its sweet and cute aswell, and they seem to have got the balance just right.

 Hatsukoi Limited(First Love Limited, as I figured out in the lastest ep, and double checked before writing this lol) is about 8 middle and high school girls, and guess what? They’re love lives! Who coulda guessed that one?

The op is quite nice, I prefer the ed, but they’re both good.

So 8 girls. Might get a bit confusing you think? So far I haven’t had any trouble recognising the different girls, BUT the guys on the other hand…. other than a few certain guys, one cute one, one large scary one, one who’s always wearing a banana hammock and one more who’s friends with the cute one. But other than thatt…. they all look the same… all have the same little eyes… evil eyes. The girls are so cute, yet the majority of the boys arn’t. It’s a shame… For now, I’m just gonna introduce the characters that have been in the episodes so far, and not reveal too much about the actual story. Though its not exactly hard to guess lol.

So far we’ve had Ayumi Arihara’s episode, that was first, the big guy Misao Zaitsu confessed to her after her rant about accepting the first guy who confessed to her. Bad timing much?

Of course, he looks scary, but he’s a big softee. Isn’t that the way? So he begins following her around untill she answers him, he thinks he’s just looking out for her, making sure she gets home safe etc. But sadly it looks like stalking to everyone else… I won’t ruin what happens in any of the episodes. Ya’ll will have to watch and see.

The next episode deals with Mamoru Zaitsu, his next door neighbour and Ayumi.

Ayumi falls for Misao Zaitsu-kun’s little brother who loves his next door neighbour,Misaki Yamamoto(also his and his brothers childhood friend), who is friends with Misao Zaitsu, who loves Ayumi. Giant circle of love right? It gets worse lol.

The third episode involves Kei Enomoto(friends with Ayumu) and Kusuda(friends with Mamoru) and how Kusuda’s not as much of an ass as we first thought he was in ep 2.

In episode 4 we get to know Koyoi Bessho, her brother Yoshihiko Bessho, his friend, Yuugi Arihara(brother of Ayumi), and we see Misaki Yamamoto once again, in an intresting turn of invents.

Misaki again. Being attacked with a chupa chup by Yuugi lol.

This episode focus’s on Koyoi’s brother complex, and her brothers crush on, wait for it… Misaki! (Popular girl she is.) You should also know Yuugi has a sister complex. Again, not ruining anything important. So watch it!!

And now for the latest episode! We meet Watase Meguru and Takei Gengorou, plus we see Kusuda again, with his friend Hiroyuki Sogabe, where he meets what he thinks is the girl of his dreams, Nao Chikura.

Confused yet? Hope not lol. Cos theres more to come! We’re only on episode 5 lol. It’s 12 episodes long, which, for a 4 volume long manga, is pretty good. If they keep up at the pace they’re going with, we should be on track to get all the 8 girls stories covered and time to round up all the love triangles, squares and pentagons. We’ve already met 5 girls, and bumped into Chikura-chan in ep 5, I’m guessing her episode might be up next. We saw Yuu Enomoto and Rika Dobashi with the other girls, but they haven’t had they’re own episodes yet. Soon…

I really like the series. Cute art. Funny bits. Ecchi bits. Fun for the whole family! As long as the family isn’t easily confused. lol. Time for bed! More Lovely Complex! Ep 9 and 10 tonight. Maybe 11 and 12… depends. Oooo Shangri La tonight though!! Yay!
