Autumn Season Anime (ASA)

FTW.

That’s right, AUTUMN. None of this ‘Fall’ malarkey. Tis Autumn. Or, well… it was… isn’t so much now lol. Its like the whole of the UK has iced over in the matter of weeks. Panic ensues of course because for some reason, we can’t handle a bit of snow lol. (Above pic of the lovely Manami came from here.)

So, I mentioned in a previous post which anime I’d be trying, right? It’s changed a bit since then lol. Oreimo is the only one I’m keeping up with out of them. I will definitely watch Fortune Arterial, just not at the moment. Yosuga no Sora… not sure about… Star Driver was interesting, so I may well watch that at some point too. But right now, just keeping up with Kuragehime, Oreimo and Shiki is enough lol. There are some spoilers regarding plot of Shiki, if you don’t wanna know anything, don’t read that bit lol.

LOVE Kuragehime. Am totally rooting for Kuranosuke and Tsukimi lol. This series is so infuriatingly cute XD AND Mayaya is voiced by Akemi Okamura as she voiced Risa Koitani in Lovely Complex, one of my favourite series ever. Little bit manic as Mayaya, but tis funny 🙂 The series is only 11 eps long, but I think thats good for something like this. I can’t see it being as good stretched to 22-26 eps. (Above pic from here) ALSO love the op/ed songs. Ending specially… it grew on me. Like the most awesome kind of songs do :DD Sambomaster – Kimi ni Kirei no Kizuite Okure

Oreimo… GAWD she annoys me…. she’s so mean to her brother… poor Kyou-chan… My favourite of the series is either Saori or Manami. But both Kirino and Kuroneko are far too Tsun for my liking. Dere is made of much more win. Though I complain I don’t like the Tsun. I’m still watching. So it must be doing something right lol. Another short series. Not a bad thing, I just hope Kirino gets what she deserves and apologises to her brother. And I hope Kirino’s evil friend Ayase doesn’t do anything else mean either… and I hope that Kyou-chan and Manami get it together lol. (Above pic from here.)

Natsuno and Tooru... *sniffle* Tooru...

Shiki was something I got into by accident…(technically not an Autumn anime, since it started airing in Summer, I’m just late watching lol.) watched episode 1 on recommendation from a friend I think, and loved the art style. So I gave it more of a chance, not having read anything about the plot really(even the themes on ANN, otherwise I woulda known before I watched it even that it was vamps LOL). Though the reveal isn’t so much big because its *pretty* obvious from ep 1 really… still. Its waaaaaaaaaay better than most vampire related stuff about now. Its all mushy romanticized vampires, with feelings. Vampires shouldn’t have feelings, they should be lethal, cold killing machines! Shiki is far more like this than Vampire Diaries/Twilight. It’s a proper horror series. Reminiscent of Higurashi I think… tiny town in the middle of nowhere, cut off from the outside world etc. Really liked the main guys best friend, and of course, he got ganked, then started to like the main guy, and guess what? XD No one is safe in this anime. Not even the cute Doctor now… the Priest might be…  This is the only longer series I’m watching currently, but I did start late… I’ve only been watching in sync for the past few weeks. So. Anime wise, thats it. One down…. how many to go? XD
