She’s so pretty with her green hair ❤
So I’ve tried 15 series from this winter season. Some good, some alright, some I’m instantly in love with.
Active Raid – Feels kinda like Tiger and Bunny to me, will give it the 3 episode trial. Mainly cos of the comedy element.
Ajin – Tried, found out it was celshaded, I wanted to try it properly, but I just don’t like the choppiness of celshaded anime…
Boku Dake ga Inai Machi – Time travel and murder mystery, winner for me. Concept and animation seem good, so I shall see how we go.
Dagashi Kashi – Snack advertising the anime, it’s weird, quirky, disjointed, but I am enjoying the history lesson for some of the these candies and snacks. I know some, but not all, so it also makes me hungry.
Dimension W – Instant winner for me, based on a manga by the same guy who did King of Thorns and Cat Paradise, Yuji Iwahara, and I loooooved his art style. Didn’t realise he was behind the art for Dimension W until after I’d watched ep 1, but the plot intrigued me enough even if I didn’t like the art style this much.

Pretty pretty Dimension W ❤
Divine Gate – Not sure what to think of this yet, seems a bit angsty, but I’ll give it 3 eps to win me over. I like magic bullshit, but I’ll have to see…
Hai to Gensou no Grimgar – Seems to be a more gritty and realistic take on the whole ‘stuck in an MMO’ plot. Judging from the preview of ep 2, possible deaths will occur.
Haruchika: Haruta to Chika wa Seishun Suru – If it was more detective/mystery than romance, I’d probably be into this, but going from ep 1, I think I’ll probably drop it.
Kono Subarashii Sekai ni Shukufuku wo! – Otaku/shut in/NEET dies, gets sent to MMO-esque world to defeat an enemy no one else can… and he gets to bring one thing to this world. So he picks the mouthy Goddess who was giving him the down-low before sending him there. Seems stupid, but fun, so I’ll give it a chance.
Koukaku no Pandora – Lesbian Robot Fighting? It looks cute and silly, I like the art style, but the animation doesn’t seem top notch, but I don’t mind if it’s cute and interesting. I am wondering about her aunt though…

She’s a robot. It’s totally fine.

It’s fiiiiiiiiiine!

Lesbian Robot Fighting. I am gonna keep watching to see if I am wrong. I’m seeing very little male influence/character in this show so far.
Musaigen no Phantom World – Long as we get to some proper plot, some kind of conspiracy or something, I will be happy. If not it’ll just be the adventures of boobs-mcgee and her trusty sidekicks. The scene below is gonna give this series a bad rep me thinks.

Necessary scene was necessary.

Cos plot.
Norn9: Norn + Nonet – I’m gonna have to not watch this until after I’ve finished the game, I’m on my 5th play through now, but I’ve watched an ep and a bit of the Norn9 anime and the differences already started to bug me… like… where the hell is Sorata!!?? The game freaking starts with the little guy!! *sigh* I’ll try it again later… But the art isn’t nearly as pretty as the games…

Game art vs the anime art…
Phantasy Star Online 2: The Animation – Still not sure about this one, but I’ll give it the 3 eps. The idea that everyone in this schools plays the game though…. eh…
Schwarzesmarken – Looks creepy. Reminds me of Berserk… the creepy aliens… probably won’t be watching it. UPDATE: I just noticed that the ‘Objectionable content’ in this is ‘Intense’ which is more than ‘Significant’ like most shows I seem to watch, so I might have to try, *just* to see how bad/good it is XD (I also had no clue it was a prequel to Muv Luv Alternative….)
Mahou Shoujo Nante Mouiidesukara – I know it’s a parody of Madoka. It’s a short. That’s fine. The mascot thing with the wings reminds me of the one from Ninja Nonsense years back… creepy little pervy things…
So alot to keep track of. This doesn’t even include Ansatsu Kyoushitsu, and other things. Like Kuroko no Basket that we’re trying to power through. AND all the other non-animated TV.
