GAME messes up = WIN

One of my 360 Mii ripoffs lol.

(I like these avatars better cos you get to pick the outfit, and they’re not SD/Chibi(my little bro made his look like Neil Patrick Harris, which is epic.). Bear in mind, I don’t wear glasses, they just went well with that outfit lol. I always wanted to wear glasses when I was younger though, thought they were cool. I remember lying about a house number across the road being fuzzy just to go to the optitions lol.)

Today, after we saw Harry Potter and The Half Blood Prince(will talk bout that tomorrow), my little brother went to see about a hard drive for the 360, since we only had a 512mb Memory unit… He wanted the 60GB starter pack, with the headset(which he probably wouldn’t use), an ethernet cable(which we have many of already), a 3 month gold membership(which I already have lol). When we found a place that had them in stock, in GAME for £59.99. We bought it, were handed the bag, or at least my little bro was, he didn’t check the bag, which, in hindsight, woulda been a good idea. But in some ways, its better he didn’t.

Viva Pinata

I first played Viva Pinata a few years ago around a friends house. Spent hours on it, addicted from the onset. I really shouldn’t be let near addictive sim games… Harvest Moon… Animal Crossing… those kinds…. I waste hours and hours on these types of games, and buy multiple versions of whats basically the same game with a few added bits. Sometimes not even extras… I bought Viva Pinata on the PC when I first got addicted, but alas, no 360, so had to settle for the PC version, still awesome. Tho on my slow-ass computer it wouldn’t run nicely… much like Sims 2 wouldn’t on my old laptop… runs ok on this one. (Thats another game I shouldnt have been let near…)

Trying to game, watch anime and regular TV all at once…

It just ain’t possible… I wish it was…. But there really isn’t enough hours in the day if I want to sleep as much as I do. So I think I *might* have to start getting up around 9am…. horrible thought… BUT it means I get to force my little brother to watch an episode of Firefly while nothing else is on hehe. He plays DS at the same time, but at least he’s soaking up the glory. He watched the Pilot episode this morning, easter morning, after our egg hunt lol. We didn’t even get all the eggs… kept finding odd eggs here and there thorought the day… Anyways… back to the subject!!

Baek Changpo has made her arrival!

She arrived at about 9:30 this morning, during Gilmore Girls lol. I finally have her!!! Thats one more I can tick off my ‘I thought I’d never own them’ list!!! She cost £37 with shipping, £32 without. Completely worth it. She stands just under 14cm tall, which is what you’d expect from a bending over figure.

I have decided to call her Baek Changpo, as thats what it says on the box. I was only calling her Pec Champo because I’d seen other places calling her that.

Pec Champo/Baek Changpo Figure – GET!!(soon ;D)

My Pec Champo w figure was shipped today, this morning actually, quite a few hours ago. Which means it should be a good way on its way. The last figure (GSC Lucy M) I ordered from Up1 came very swiftly the day after shipping. So I’m hoping Champo will achieve the same quick delivery time. Anyways, a little more history on Pec Champo now, or Baek Changpo, whichever you prefer, I prefer Pec Champo myself. She comes from the second of the Senko no Ronde games on the XBOX 360, which I didnt realise untill today. I just thought she came from this illustration.

I’ve seen various news items and reviews of this figure, finally the review on Happy Soda by Super Rats finally pursuaded me to get out there and buy it. Luckily for me it was on a site accessable to me! And at a price I was willing to buy it at, £32 without shipping, will know price of shipping when it gets here. Lucy’s shipping was cheaper than the site said too, and the box for Champo shouldn’t be too large.

Figure Costs – (HOLYOMFGCRAP) – How much have you spent?

I took the time today, to count up just how much I’d spent on figures. I did the bigger PVC figures first. Getting a job had really impacted how much I spend, which in some ways I’m glad on, in others, I could cry at how much I’ve spent on plastic girls (and a couple of boys) alone… I converted the totals into Yen and American Dollars aswell for those who don’t know Pounds very well. I counted 24 figures as ‘big’ This included Pocco and my Figma Haruhi, cos they cost more the prices of big figures anyways, even if they are smaller. (Although Haruhi standing next to Konomi-chan, theres only bout an inch in it, and Pocco is the same height roundabouts.)
