Moefication Marathon

Tomorrow, I’m gonna do my best to pollute another with the miracle that is moe. I already got him watching anime a few years back, but he needs moe. He’s missing out on Clannad and Kannagi, stuff like Sky Girls and Strike Witches. Theres so much he hasn’t seen. Sadly he is one of the many who fell to the blunt edged sword that is Naruto. Bleach too, but Bleach is better than Naruto, I actually watched the whole first season without turning it off lol.

The deal I made to get him to watch the stuff I prefer was that I would in turn, watch the stuff he prefers. So that means stuff like Naruto, FMA(am indifferent to FMA really), Desert Punk probably, and not sure if Bleach will be part of the marathon, since he knows I’ve seen some before. The Naruto torture will be worth exposing him to the greatness that is Clannad, Haruhi, Kannagi and many others, not all moe and girly stuff mind. Will be fun. And will go on a while. Below are the majority of what I plan to expose him to. Might be a few more from the new season. Depends.

London Expo Cosplay

On sunday, I vowed to ignore the stalls(for the most part) and just get many, many photos. Which I did. Not all decent enough to post here, I need a better camera… I do….. GAH…. And beware… theres a shock at the end of the post….

There were eroge characters! Which I was uber-happy about! (Misuzu!!!) I even saw some cosplayers of Shuffle and Otome wa Boku ni Koishiteru(I think…)

Spore – First Look.

Tonight I finally got to try Spore. Tis good fun so far. But I’ll admit… I think I’m having trouble allying some of the harder nests. I think I have to change my creature to something I dont really want… or at least the muzzle needs changing… needs to be better at singing… These are my beasties so far.

Unfortunately this is yet ANOTHER distraction from things I should be doing….. University preparation, catching up on anime(Haruka’s Secret ep 9!! I got Bleach Series 1 Part 2 yesterday too. AND Haruhi LE vol 4 came today too!! :woot:), and my other games… like Asda Story. Which I need to get on tomorrow… (Only been back at home for 6 hours, enough time to play Spore, watch some Bleach, download bloody Vista updates and more!! But not enough to play Asda and watch Haruhi too. lol)

Bleach Update

Will he class in the ranks of Soshi, Uruki, Syaoran, Tamahome and Kyo-kun?

Just a quick update on how I’m doing with Bleach. I’m on ep 4 right now, and quite enjoying it if I’m completely honest. I know its stereotypical and theres tons of better stuff out there. But there has gotta be some reason why its so popular right? And I actually quite like the dub of this. I actually like Johnny Yong Bosch as Ichigo. He has a nice voice. It makes me wanna watch Power Rangers(TV and movie) just to see what he sounded like back then, and if he was as cute lol. I didnt realise it was Itsuki though…(And OMG he is a voice actor in the Onegai Twins dub too! I may have to buy that now, I liked the anime anyways)probly cos I’ve tried to avoid watching Haruhi with the dub on…. Mikuru just isnt the same…. Anyways. Back to Bleach. As I said. Enjoying it so far. Only on ep 4 though. So I could change my mind completely. If I dont, I may have to fork out for the 2nd part of the first series. We’ll see how it goes.

Trying Bleach

I’m finally trying out some anime that I thought I wouldn’t like, like Naruto, and, if you couldn’t tell, Bleach. I was lucky enough to find Bleach and Naruto season 1 part 1’s for just £12.90 for both.(Thats $26 and 2700 yen).

My friend has been plugging Bleach and Naruto for a while now. (He’s fallen for Naruto big-time.) I watched some Naruto first but skipped to Bleach. I’ve watched the 1st 2 episodes now, and it’s better than I thought it’d be. I don’t have any urge to turn Bleach off, so thats good right? I like Ichigo-kun’s family. They seem, like him, freaky, but in a good way. I actually feel like I want to keep watching. Which means I’ll have to hunt down the season 1 part 2 for a reasonable price. I gotta save money for the Haruhi Special Edition DVD’s and a Figma Kagami though. Ah the life of an otaku……tis but an expensive one.
