Tomodachi Life – It will consume yours!!!

This was quite a while ago now…

A couple of months ago I acquired Tomodachi Life via a friend from Hyper Japan, when they were having the half price sale. By this point I’d already played the demo and was kind of interested, but didn’t want to pay £35 for it XD.

So me and my friends all have this game now, and we’re all oddly addicted to running our islands full of our Mii-versions of friends and family.

I find myself comparing it to Tamagotchi’s, because you need to feed them and keep them happy by giving them stuff. Only they’re digital versions of people you know, or people you’d like to know in my case too, since I’ve made Mii’s of B1A4. And anime characters. I made a Shana for my little brother to marry, but he ended up marrying my teacher assistant from China, Maggie. And my dad’s married my friend Athina, and my mum is still single. I married who I wanted 🙂 Though we have 3 kids…. which is disturbing. Specially as he had the idea 2 out of 3 times…

The game itself is pretty odd, you are referred to as your in game Mii’s lookalike, so to all the islanders, I am ‘Meimi’s lookalike’, who provides them with sustenance and stuff. I’m basically their god. It’s Sims-esque like that, but you have much less control. If you want a certain Mii to marry another Mii, it can be tough. Luckily I didn’t have to intervene on my Mii’s choice. I’m pretty sure I was asked out, then rejected him, and then later on my Mii asked him out and he said yes, thank god. So there’s a barrage of screencaps under the cut lol.

Otacool 3 – Workspaces

Its that time of year folks! Time to get your camera’s charged and at the ready! For submissions for Otacool 3 are open 🙂 This Otacool is all about workspaces :), be they at work or at home, but more often than not, its gonna be where your computer is situated XD, unless you’re Chun… where ‘workspace’ entails so much more than just a computer :3 Go here to see what I mean if you don’t already know 😀

My entry for Otacool 3 has been posted up to Figure.fm. Might change some of the pictures… might not… will see… fading light is such a bitch sometimes XD But its there. Only posted a few pics here, not final ones either, the proper ones are on Figure.fm.

My New Room

You may remember seeing my room at uni last year, if you don’t the recap/comparison is here. But last week, the 20th to be exact, I moved into my new living quarters for the next year. The room is WAY bigger than I thought it’d be lol.

Do Squirrels eat Curly Wurlies?

Well do they? These squirrels were insanely tame lol.

Today I went round with a friend who was doing the photo work I did on friday, using the big ol’ SLR camera’s. (My grandad on my fathers side loved camera’s, according to my father, there are some in the barn, with lots of lens and stuff. My dad is gonna have a look for me, will be cool, even if it is older, still an SLR!!) So, after the park… we went to the castle gardens, and got ambused by squirrels… really tame ones… I wish I hadn’t eaten all my Curly Whirlie…. but Katie had one left!! So we started experimenting…

Sleepover & Nogizaka Haruka updates – See you in a day or so!

I am off to a bbq/sleepover today with some of my closest friendlies.  So I probably won’t be posting for the next 24 hours or so. Probably a bit longer. I thought I’d post some pics in honor of this, but its actually harder to find pics of sleepovers than I thought it would be.
