So… this is a like a giant/mass report on the last month pretty much. Everything thats happened and everything thats going to happen in the next few weeks. I think…

So, I’ll start off with the fact I’m back at uni :woop: Living in student digs free from the reign of the parentals! Exact same room as last year, one of the same roommates, but one went awol just after christmas, so we have a new one. Still assessing… might be a bit too chavvy/noisy for our liking
Course wise, you may not know I switched. From Animation Design to Graphic Design & Illustration. Just lots and lots and LOTS of drawing. Which is goooooooood. Takes up a fair amount of time, but thats cool. I’m managing to balance the education with the recreation. Skip below the cut to see what I’ve been up to ;).

How many figures will a 360 Elite buy?

One of my biggest dilemma’s over the past year or so is, whether or not I should buy an Xbox 360. xJaymanx suggested I make a post about it, so I did, hehe. When I get one, it’ll almost definately be an Elite… So about £230 for the console itself, not in a bundle, in a bundle deal it would probably be like… £245, £260… I’m not worried about the games that would come in the bundle, since they’d be crap ones, probably sport games that the shop couldn’t shift on their own. I’m going by Gamestation, Amazon, GAME prices, since they’d be the places I’d most likely get one. So… onto the question… how many figures that I really want, not impulse buys, can a 360 Elite buy?

Figma Tsuruya-san Arrival + 8 days till B-Day

Today my mother and brother came to visit me and pick up some stuff for my stay at home over Christmas, and I got a suprise when she appeared with Tsuruya-san!!! I’ve been waiting AGES for her!!!

Very crap pic I took before the battery in my camera died. I’m charging it now. So a full review will come soon!! Isn’t Tsuruya-san lovely?? The Figma and the Puchi Nendo look so good next to each other!! I want more Tsuruya-sans.. but there are less of them available on the sites I usually use… I want a MF Tsuruya-san… Or Alter… Or both… I prefer the Alter’s face, the MF’s body and pose…. gah…. choices…

Oh, and next week I’m getting a figure(I know which:grin: tis one I’ve wanted for a while now hehe) for xmas from my friends. They teamed together to get me one that costs £40. It’s so good of them!! I’ve known them for less than 3 months but we know each other so well!!! It’s insane but awesome!

AND it’s my birthday in 8 days…. 8 days….on the 23rd… I’ll be 19…. I’m not sure I want to be 19… I didn’t wanna be 18… let alone 19… it’s just one step closer to not being a teenager anymore. Though I’m not going to stop being childish even after I hit 20, no fun in life otherwise. I still don’t wanna be older though lol. How do ya’ll feel about your ages? Good or bad? Wish to be older or younger? Or does it not matter?

Memorabilia – Midlands Expo Sunday Nov 23rd

Now….. bad news… I forgot my camera…. didnt realise before I was on the train… just as it was about to leave…. you don’t now how gutted I was… I could have got a pic of the Fonz… of Gareth David Lloyd…. :sob: I wish I brought it….. damn…. nevermind though. My camera is pretty awful anyways. I have the memories, they are good enough for me. Not for you lot obviously. But theres videos and pics on the official site I’m sure. Content-wise, Memorabilia is much-much more varied than Expo. More actual scifi and comics rather than raging Naruto fans. And its on a larger scale. Bigger venue. And food INSIDE the venue too! Hot food and hot drinks and snacks and everything! You need never leave! (Unless you need to find a cash machine :cough: which I did…. and had to wait in line AGES for the only available one in the NEC….(for some reason the rest of the cash machines were out of order… grrrrrr). After I had been to the cash machine I went to get some lunch. I needed sugar and stodgy foods. So I went to a Free House/Bar/Cafe thing that was inside the NEC complex. Had coke and a cheese and ham panini. Was good. £6.60 total I think… pretty good considering they could have hiked the price alot due to its locale. Also got some snackage for inside, when I returned into the convention. (I went to get money for a Mecha-Musume mini figure, cos I only had £5 and she was £7.) The NEC complex is a BIG place, 20 showrooms, big rooms. There were two other shows on while I was there. The Golf Show(LOL) and the Christmas Festive Gift Fair….. I was so tempted to go in and be showered by the jollity. But I restrained myself from spending more….

I did get photos of my loot though. A fine loot for the limited cash I brought…. it was soooo tempting not to have got out more than I did….. No Hatsune Miku Figma though… :sulks: I did however, pick up another figure I’ve been pining over for a while now… Silfa from ToHeart2 Another Days! I’m soooooo glad I got her! And for only £20!! And I got the To Heart Akari figure which I regretted not buying in Norwich for the same price! £10!

 I also got two more of the GoodSmile VIP trading figures. I had MaRyan from the London Expo. Today I got Komaki and Akari(Two Akari’s! lol. The Komaki Sisters! lol).

Hatsune Miku Nendoroid – GET!!

FINALLY!! It’s here!!! It’s here and just as adorable as I imagined!!! (And saw in other peoples blogs lol) GAH! She’s so sweet!!! I can’t stop looking at her and going >.<, its as close to actual ‘squee-ing’ I’ve come!! I want them to make a Miku Nendo Plushie!! So I can hug it too!! Cause thats what I really wanna do!!! Haauuuu….

My Hatsune Miku Nendoroid has finally shipped!!!

The Hatsune Miku Nendoroid which I ordered WAY back on the 31st of July has finally been shipped!!! This is the one that is currently discontinued and to be restocked in December, not the newer face version yet to be released. I was lucky to have ordered it when I did… cause it seemed to become listed as discontinued very soon after that…

Apparantly it was shipped about 3am UK time, don’t know what that is in Japan though…. either way, YAY! It’s finally on it’s way! And yay for the fact that I can track it!!!

And gosh-darn isn’t that pic of Miku just swell?! lol It’s sooo pretty!!! I posted the full size one so you didnt have to go all the way over to Moe Imouto lol.
