WHY DID THEY CANCEL SELFIE?!?!? – And the unjust cancellation of other tv shows…

When stuff like The Mindy Project and New Girl(which I do watch to be fair, but I wouldn’t be devastated if it was cancelled) are still going strong, why does Selfie get tossed aside? For the past 3 seasons of new TV, every comedy I have grown attached to, they have cancelled. Two by NBC, Go On in 2012-2013 and The Crazy Ones in 2013-2014, and now Selfie, cancelled by ABC. Why do I always like the doomed ones? I’m the same picking characters to root for, usually they don’t get the girl/fail in their mission.) Why couldn’t I like the popular ones? I’m lucky Community has got to 6 seasons, hell, it was almost cancelled once, the officially cancelled, but then resurrected, so I can be grateful for that at least. But for the past 3 seasons… all my favourites…

Romeo X Juliet Episode 1 & other musings

After getting the SFX magazine today, and it having a disc of 3 eps of anime on(sadly dubbed only, not even any subs for the op/ed themes…), gave me a chance to finally watch (the 1st ep at least, of the) Romeo&Juliet anime. When they say ‘based on’ its taken *very* loosely lol. Pegasus’s, fine. But masked crossdressing town heroes like Marian in the BBC Robin Hood? lol. And the Japanese version of ‘You Raise Me Up’ made me lol too.  Animations all nice though. Gonzo standard(?) This is being written while I watch lol, as dubbed makes it easier to multitask haha.

Eeep at the creepy blonde Shakespeare though…

What My Top 10 Actors Say

Ok.. I couldn’t do just 5… it was friggin’ impossible!! I couldn’t leave one off without feeling bad…. Though there are 11 I can think of, properly favourite, so one was kicked. Who? I won’t say, cos I still feel bad…

Now, the only one I put in order is Tennant, cos he is my all time favourite, and that will NEVER change. Unless a taller awesome scottish guy comes along. Who’s a more accessable age lol. The rest are in no particular order.

Watchmen – The Comedian – JDM

Today I found out that one of my favourite recurring characters,Denny Duquette, from Greys Anatomy, is playing The Comedian/Edward Blake in Watchmen. His name is Jeffrey Dean Morgan.

Seen Hellboy 2, now watching Death Note Movie.

Saw the Hellboy movie today. Adverts made it look better. Not enough Del Toro-esque stuff and too much mushy stuff…. the singing was uneccessary… and barforific….. Wasn’t enough fighting. Graphics were awesome. I loved the Elemental. That was brill. But the bad guy was too fey. Voice wasn’t good enough.

I did however! Spot the first Death Note movie on DVD!! (Only released in the UK recently!! Have been waiting YONKS!!) I’m watching the first hour now, then theres a 2 hour Greys Anatomy marathon, season finale. Have to watch it. Will resume watching DN Movie afterwards. Means staying up till at least 1:30am tho…. and I’ve got work 2mro at 9… GAH (1:30 cos I need to watch ep 6 of Denno Coil, tis now my nightly ritual, will keep downloading an episode a day. Something to look forward too.
