In the past week or so, lotsa stuff has happened. I’ve seen Transformers 2, been bashed by two of my friends cos I said I was bored of the sand and parents being in it too much. Also, had a trip to Ipswich to stay with a couple of friends, was awesome. Lotsa gaming, movies and eating junk. I ended up on the sofa somehow, I was all for sprawling out on the floor aswell lol.

International Saimoe League 2009

I saw some Saimoe 2009 stuff floating around the net, and thought I’d look into it. Apparantly the 64(don’t remember where I got 37 from….it was wrong…very wrong…far off lol) entrants have been chosen, and the voting starts on the 16th of March. I think I’ll cover the competition. Seems fun, and I wanna see how far the 12 girls I’m rooting for get. Read on to see who my picks are! And the schedule and whatnot.

The Haruhi Hype

Don’t get me wrong, I’m really looking forward to it, I can’t wait in fact. What I can do without is all the hype, the rumors, and the waiting. People have been talking for MONTHS and I am getting bored… bored of the epicly long wait… I don’t wanna spend any longer than I do watching a laptop screen, especially not reading a real book on a screen…. I want the real book if anything…. But if this new season doesn’t come out soon…..

How many figures will a 360 Elite buy?

One of my biggest dilemma’s over the past year or so is, whether or not I should buy an Xbox 360. xJaymanx suggested I make a post about it, so I did, hehe. When I get one, it’ll almost definately be an Elite… So about £230 for the console itself, not in a bundle, in a bundle deal it would probably be like… £245, £260… I’m not worried about the games that would come in the bundle, since they’d be crap ones, probably sport games that the shop couldn’t shift on their own. I’m going by Gamestation, Amazon, GAME prices, since they’d be the places I’d most likely get one. So… onto the question… how many figures that I really want, not impulse buys, can a 360 Elite buy?

Figma Kagami Hiiragi = GET!

Today my Figma Kagami arrived! She was only shipped yesterday! :woot for quick delivery!: I’ve been looking forward to getting Kagami for AGES! (Gotta love the twintails right? lol) This is only my second figma. Haruhi being my first(you’ll see her here too lol). The figma I’m REALLY looking forward too, and preordered, was Tsuruya-san!!! The green-haired beauty!!! She’s been shipped, now all I gotta do is wait…

I don’t know why exactly, but I’m much prefering Kagami to Haruhi. It might be because Kagami doesnt have a gammy-leg…but I think I prefer the hair this way. Easier to move the head. And its fun to move the twintails hehe.

Is she not the sweetest widdle thing? Back or front, she has charm, character. It might be the stubby figures, Haruhi’s got more delicate hands, more scared of breaking them. BUT! I have a few quibbles with Kagami(and probably the other Lucky Star Figmas.) which I will go through later…

Tsuruya-san = SHIPPED!

FINALLY! She’s on her way!! I chose SAL shipping this time, as opposed to EMS like I used for my Hatsune Miku Nendo. Least I’ll be able to find out how long SAL takes. I’m hoping about 2 weeks…. Thats an optimistic estimate right? It’s 7-45 days usually. I’ll just have to wait and see…. Here are some pics from Danny-sans Tsuruya-san article for your viewing pleasure.

I can’t wait for her to get here!! I preordered her before I even knew about my namesakes(Emiri)head being included! I may invest in a Mikuru so I can have Emiri on display too…. I’m still waiting on Haruka Nogizaka to be shipped from Up1. I’m guessing they haven’t got it yet. Which is fine. I’m in no real hurry lol.
