New Who – 3 hours & counting…

Because I have a darling TARDIS model, makes the noise & everything, way better than the money bank version, and I have many figures, toys, plastic things, I thought I’d have a play. In honor of the beginning of season 5 of Doctor Who, with Matt Smith as the new Doctor(THE DOCTOR, thats his name, NOT ‘Dr Who’ really pisses me off when even folks in the media can’t get it right *sigh*…) and Karen Gillan as the new companion AND most importantly to me, Steven Moffat as the new head writer!! :WOOOOP:. Lost one Scot, gained 2 others, not all bad, but I wish the Doc was Scottish lol. One day… And if you don’t know what Doctor Who is, FOR SHAME! And proceed here forthwith.

Borrowed my brother Yuki for this, regretting leaving all my Figma at my uni accomodation now lol.

How annoying is Parcelforce?!?!

I mean really! We pay for EMS shipping, the best available on HLJ, and then we get the super sucky, delayed services of Parcelforce when your package reaches the UK! EVEN if it is under the £18 threshold for outside-the-EU imports! Why bother forking out the extra cash, if its gonna take nearly as long as SAL anyways??!! I just wanted to get it before I left for Uni… but I doubt its gonna arrive tomorrow, so my parents are gonna have to either bring it to me or send it too me! GAWD Parcelforce suck, and Mr.Parcelforce, I hope you’re reading this!! Do you know how much pain you cause importers? I’ve seen the cases via google on forums and such, and they’re all horror stories!! Get your butts in gear! Your worse than Royal Mail for crying out loud!! 1/200 HCM Pro Zaku Warrior

My little loot from my trip to Norwich on saturday. And technically I only bought Zaku, cos ‘Cat Paradise’ was in a 3 for 2 offer in Waterstones, and my brother was buying Haruhi manga(I did warn him it ain’t the same though…) I thought £6.95 was a bit much, but the Japanese packaging was too much to pass up, I woulda bought any of the Mobile Suits, was very much an impulse buy. But I recently found out I am, what you’d call, a Zeonist, a fan of the 1-eyed Mobile Suits, Gelgoog, Zaku, Dom’s(whatever Dom’s are… will have to search that lol). 1500 yen on HLJ. Still in stock atm lol, released in 2005 originally.

An itty-bitty gundam! So very tiny at just 9cm in height! About the same height as a Nendoroid, tiny bit shorter me thinks. More past the cut!

Moefication Marathon

Tomorrow, I’m gonna do my best to pollute another with the miracle that is moe. I already got him watching anime a few years back, but he needs moe. He’s missing out on Clannad and Kannagi, stuff like Sky Girls and Strike Witches. Theres so much he hasn’t seen. Sadly he is one of the many who fell to the blunt edged sword that is Naruto. Bleach too, but Bleach is better than Naruto, I actually watched the whole first season without turning it off lol.

The deal I made to get him to watch the stuff I prefer was that I would in turn, watch the stuff he prefers. So that means stuff like Naruto, FMA(am indifferent to FMA really), Desert Punk probably, and not sure if Bleach will be part of the marathon, since he knows I’ve seen some before. The Naruto torture will be worth exposing him to the greatness that is Clannad, Haruhi, Kannagi and many others, not all moe and girly stuff mind. Will be fun. And will go on a while. Below are the majority of what I plan to expose him to. Might be a few more from the new season. Depends.

Endless Eight – Really Endless?!?

Seriously… how could they think this was a good idea, 3 episodes fine, 4 maximum, but stretching it to 5!!! COME ON!!
