Kotobukiya 4Leaves Tease + Moelicious Tama-nee

Kotobukiya teasing us… It’s *fairly* safe to say that the girl on the right is Chizuru from Kanokon. But the other two? I don’t know… Who’s the girl with the long hair??? Or the girl with the hat and long dress??? The hair style of the girl on the right reminds me of (Nice Boat)Katsura from School Days. And the small amount of hair you can see on the middle girl reminds me of a character from one of the Ef Tale of’s. Possibly eyepatch?

How many figures will a 360 Elite buy?

One of my biggest dilemma’s over the past year or so is, whether or not I should buy an Xbox 360. xJaymanx suggested I make a post about it, so I did, hehe. When I get one, it’ll almost definately be an Elite… So about £230 for the console itself, not in a bundle, in a bundle deal it would probably be like… £245, £260… I’m not worried about the games that would come in the bundle, since they’d be crap ones, probably sport games that the shop couldn’t shift on their own. I’m going by Gamestation, Amazon, GAME prices, since they’d be the places I’d most likely get one. So… onto the question… how many figures that I really want, not impulse buys, can a 360 Elite buy?

Kotobukiya Shana Swimsuit ver 1/6th figure + The New Doctor

January 8, 2009

On the same day I recieved my beloved Makoto I got Shana too. An impulse buy from amazon.co.uk, £9.99 plus about £3-4 shipping, was an uber-bargain for a 1/6th scale figure. Released back in April 2007, I’m not sure how available she is, but I still feel lucky getting her for this price.

132

December 19, 2008

132. The number of figures I have accumulated. (This isn’t counting all the pokemon gashapon and stuff too… would be higher lol) (It was originally 129, but I forgot about some figures I didn’t count…. the 1/10th Sakura, the 1/5th fig and my Princess Ai doll. I’m so glad it’s 132!! How perfect is that?? 132!! (I swear it wasn’t planned…. I won’t say I didn’t look around to check for figures I’d forgotten about though lol))

132 figures. Thats including PVC, posable(Figma, Revoltech, Shinki, Nendoroids and a doll or two) and mini figures.

38 PVC 1/10th to 1/5th scale
18 Posable, Figma’s to 1/6th FF figures to a Princess Ai doll.
76 Mini figures, from Puchi Nendo’s, trading figures, bigger gachapon, PSE mini figs to Figumates.

Ok, IT Crowd over, I got distracted too… lol I found the other pic, but this was taken before I packed up Chie, Corti and others I brought to Uni with me…

Righto, thats an updated photo. All figures that remain at home are crammed on top of that. Not all the mini figures… just some… But my Pikachu car is there lol. There are many of my girls there though. And some of my guys. Hardly any thought compared to the female figures lol.

Kotobukiya Nono Nekomiya ~Yotsunoha~ 1/6th PVC Figure Review

December 16, 2008

Today I recieved my Nono Nekomiya from Forbidden Planet which I ordered.

Much packaging... much much packaging... air pockets and polystyrene.

She cost £25 including shipping. She’s a figure I’ve been wanting ever since her release was announced. And I’d even seen the anime OVA(which was based on a visual novel called Yotsunoha) before I saw the figure! Unlike alot of my purchases, like Corti, Chie, Miko, Pec etc. Getting her was a nice pick-me-up for today, since I’d been feeling fairly crappy since last night. (Might be the nuggets… might be the Chrons… :shrugs: either way, I feel uber-tired and wrong.)

Isn’t she just sooo pretty? And the outfit, sukumizu, nekomimi and tail, thigh high socks and bells is just brilliant! So many iconic accesories in one figure! She looks great too, well made, well painted. And at almost 22cm, 24cm including the cute clover base, she’s one of my tallest figures. Great value for £25. Especially now considering the price on HLJ is now over £40. Damn this recession….

Anyhows, I’ve taken many pics, all of which are included in this post if you keep reading. 😀
