I have heard about Nanoha alot. I knew there were loads of figures. I knew it was a magical girl series. And that it looked cute. But I’d never really felt that fussed about watching it. BUT after finally watching Code Geass, I felt I should look into some fan-favourites that I had passed up before. This being one of ’em. And I confess… I’m already being tempted by the figma’s….. It might just be because of the staffs that come with them though… So cool… and tiny… Hauuuu….
Now Tama-chan really is a case of the ‘impulsebuyitus’ thats seems to be going around the otaku community like wildfire. I got her at the October Expo for £25. Good price for a 1/6th scale figure. She’s about 19cm tall, a fairly loli character compared to most of my collection.
(I’m sorry for the crap quality of photos, I took these before I worked out the new light set up lol)
A fairly basic outfit. But it’s pulled off well by a great sculpt and great paintwork to boot.
I know, its late. The Greys Anatomy 2-part finale screwed me over… I totally forgot about the Crunchy Roll showing of ep 9. Luckily I found an mp4 to download(I didnt tell no one nothing…), much better and bigger picture, so I’m pleased. Now onto some screenshots. I liked this episode. Really like the Neuroi this episode.

Thats it for now. As I type I listen to ‘Sanya no Uta’ and prepare for beddy-byes. (And ep 7 of Denno Coil :grin:) I will post more when I get back from work. (Work AGAIN! Bah….) Do enjoy these in the meanwhile. I think those who have seen ep 9 will agree with me that it was rather spiffing. And those who haven’t, WATCH IT NOW!!
FINALLY!! Some actual boys!! Not henchmen in the background! Actual boy characters!! I haven’t even watched it all yet. I just saw the beginning, titles and a little after, and A BOY!!! With a confession!! Oooooo I can’t wait to see the rest!! Of course this isn’t what the guys want, the guys will be wanting more girl-on-girl. Well TOO BAD!! Not today! (I think….)

I really don’t think theres much pantsu in this episode!! YAY! Maybe thats it, maybe they were over-compensating because they knew there wouldn’t be much pantsu in this episode!!

Just posting this before I go to bed. Todays ep seems to have eased up on the fanservice.(Anything that could be construde as fanservice is tastefully; and I mean that, covered up, with careful rays of light or such like. It doesnt seem like blantent fanservice like some of the previous episodes have. The tone seems to have quietened. Good thing. And Sanya seems like a nice character. Probably why the tones quietened.

Sanya is the bottom left girl, holding the stuffed toy. Will be intresting to see how her story pans out.
AND, shows how much I’ve been paying attention… apparantly its 1944….. :doi: I honestly don’t remember seeing any other dates at the bottom of the screen untill now. Maybe in the first ep, but that was 6 weeks ago!! My memory ain’t fantastic lol.
EDIT: The end of the episode has a pretty moving bit and a nice piece of music, so if you cry easy, be prepared. The ed song is also probably my favourite so far, sung by, I assume, Sanya and Eila.

who goes by the name Shirley-san to friends, Charlotte Yeager is her proper name. The 16 year old American girl broke the sound barrier on the ground, and is now trying to do so in the air with her Striker Unit. This episode is very oppai/eye heavy.
