Yesterday, I went to the London Expo. Han style. I thought it’d be easier to get around the stalls n stuff. Carrying lotsa bags of loot never helps with that though… Not as bad as last time. Only 3 bags to carry back. Biggest thing was the gunpla box lol. Twice the size if not bigger than the 1/144th scale boxes… Onto some piccies.

London Expo – Han style!
May 25, 2009Movie remakes & sequals I’d like to see…
April 16, 2009As you may have caught on, I love movies. Cinema is awesome, and not just because of the tango ice blast or fanta fruit twist slushies. And I thought to myself that there are so many movies coming out, sequals you’d never want to see… how does anyone keep up? lol (Other than using imdb ofc.) I thought about the sequals of movies I’d like to see, and remakes too.
Japanese Boy Candy + a suprise inside!
March 18, 2009Since I got my friend into the Death Note movies, she’s developed a taste for Kenichi Tatsuyama and Tatsuya Fujiwara. I must say, she has excellent taste! lol.
Ever since I saw Battle Royale(age 13) Tatsuya has been on my ‘Height does not apply’ list (will explain if need be)lol. Kenichi however is *literally* on the cusp, at 180-185cm(depending on which site, his official page says 180cm, but I’d prefer to think 185, cos thats pretty much my height lol. (Suprise inside is at the bottom lol)
Recent Cinema Visits
December 16, 2008(EDIT: I forgot about ‘The Day The Earth Stood Still’ remake lol. I saw that too. 4 movies in the last two weeks then hehe.)
As of late, I’ve been visiting the cinema WAY more than usual. Probably because of the close proximity of cinemas at tis moment in time. In the last 2 weeks, I’ve seen Madagascar 2, Inkheart and Changeling. My favourite out of the three has to be Inkheart. From the combo of Brendan Fraiser, Paul Bettany(that guy I always forget the name of and realise I recognise him… lol), Helen Mirren and more, it was never gonna be a bad movie. I enjoyed it immensely. But I think its sad that most kids who are the right age for this movie (anywhere between 4 and 13)won’t know half the myths and legends and fairy tales the things in the movie are based on… I mean really, how many kids know about Ali Baba and his 40 thieves? I was lucky cos I got ready fairy tales, myths, other stuff.

Madagascar I wrote about before. It was good, better than I expected.

And as for Changeling, it suprised me. I didn’t think I’d enjoy it, but I did. I didn’t keep track of how long it was, which is always an important point. If you keep checking the time, or wondering ‘how much longer?’ it’s not a great movie. I usually ruin this rule by thinking about the rule lol, I’ve been taught to analyse movies… damn Media Studies… My butt was fairly numb by the end… but I knew it was long before I went to see it… 2 hours 20 minutes… lol.

Much cinema! It’s nice because I get to see movies I wouldn’t usually go to see. Like Changeling. And Max Payne. And..*shudders*…Mirrors.
How many hours have we been watching???!!! :faints:
August 27, 2008I have yet to work that out…. but I’ve worked out(approxamatly)how many episodes, OVA’s and anime movies I have watched over the years, starting with the Moomins on BBC2 in the morning when I was about 6. The full list can be found here, on a new page I made(called Anime Watch List), easier access than a blog post I thought.
