So… this is a like a giant/mass report on the last month pretty much. Everything thats happened and everything thats going to happen in the next few weeks. I think…
So, I’ll start off with the fact I’m back at uni :woop: Living in student digs free from the reign of the parentals! Exact same room as last year, one of the same roommates, but one went awol just after christmas, so we have a new one. Still assessing… might be a bit too chavvy/noisy for our liking
Course wise, you may not know I switched. From Animation Design to Graphic Design & Illustration. Just lots and lots and LOTS of drawing. Which is goooooooood. Takes up a fair amount of time, but thats cool. I’m managing to balance the education with the recreation. Skip below the cut to see what I’ve been up to ;).
Yeah yeah yeah…. I know… they’re technically not gundam(which does narrow it doesnt for you lol), but ‘Guess the Fuzzy Mobile Suit Crotch!!’ just doesnt roll off the tongue in the same way, now does it??

Well, this be some of my recent loot. I finally got a new phone aswell. Still not sure how I feel about it… Candybar style might be better for me… since I’m used to it…. The Hen Tie tshirt I ordered when Fakku did a second run of them, it arrived at home and my mother brought it up to me when we visited the grandparents. The Yoshika Nendoroid is a figure I preordered (I think….) either way. I has her now! All I have to do now is wait for the Alter. Though I prefer the face on the AmiAmi one. Either way though, Yoshika!! I want a Lynette too.
I got my photos back from the shop! The actual prints look awesome, but the high res look a bit grainy…. definately using 100 ISO film next time…. which might be later this week. On some of them I did a bit of photoshopping, just adjusting the colour, I don’t know how to get rid of grainyness lol. And it seems like the lower aperture(ones with out of focus background)have less grain than those with a higher aperture.

Today my mother and brother came to visit me and pick up some stuff for my stay at home over Christmas, and I got a suprise when she appeared with Tsuruya-san!!! I’ve been waiting AGES for her!!!
Very crap pic I took before the battery in my camera died. I’m charging it now. So a full review will come soon!! Isn’t Tsuruya-san lovely?? The Figma and the Puchi Nendo look so good next to each other!! I want more Tsuruya-sans.. but there are less of them available on the sites I usually use… I want a MF Tsuruya-san… Or Alter… Or both… I prefer the Alter’s face, the MF’s body and pose…. gah…. choices…
Oh, and next week I’m getting a figure(I know which:grin: tis one I’ve wanted for a while now hehe) for xmas from my friends. They teamed together to get me one that costs £40. It’s so good of them!! I’ve known them for less than 3 months but we know each other so well!!! It’s insane but awesome!
AND it’s my birthday in 8 days…. 8 days….on the 23rd… I’ll be 19…. I’m not sure I want to be 19… I didn’t wanna be 18… let alone 19… it’s just one step closer to not being a teenager anymore. Though I’m not going to stop being childish even after I hit 20, no fun in life otherwise. I still don’t wanna be older though lol. How do ya’ll feel about your ages? Good or bad? Wish to be older or younger? Or does it not matter?
Expo has now come and gone. And so has over £250 of my money. But all to a very good cause!! Which you will see later on.
This is the first time I’ve been to both days of the Expo. Usually I just got for the sunday, cheaper travel and alot less people. I didnt realise just how many less people went on a sunday… Saturday was so busy….. too busy…. So busy I’m almost definately never going on saturday again…. We got to the Excel Center a little later than we wanted… because one of our group got lost.(They weren’t travelling with us to begin with, we met up at the hostel we stayed at.) So… we got there just before they should have stopped selling fast track tickets… but they’d stopped early…. so we had to join the MASSIVE normal entry queue….. which we were stuck in for just over an hour I think… might have been more… I can’t remember well… have blocked it from my mind….
After we got in the queue people continued to turn up… it was insane… And we didnt start moving properly for AGES…. it was so boring…

Finally…. So nearly there…. Along the way I did get some shots of random cosplay though. Not all bad being stuck in the queue.
