Today I got round to taking some half-decent pics of my new Ayu Tsukimiya. She is gorgeous. Stunningly well made, great accesories, the wings, I love the wings. Pearlescent clear pink….look so fantastic.

HLJ/Paypal related quibbles…

August 11, 2008

Over a week ago I placed an order for the Hatsune Miku Nendoroid(which is now listed as Discontinued on HobbyLink Japan, so I hope to god they have one put aside for me since my order is in the process of being finished) and I am still waiting for the stupid e-check to clear!!! WHY do they have to work like normal paper checks? It just means they take JUST as long which is annoying as hell because Paypal was meant to be FAST!!! According to my PP account, they say it should be clearing tomorrow…. it better…. it really better, because my money is sitting in limbo right now, just floating around in the Paypal banks…. I will be sorely pissed if it turns out they sold all the Miku’s…. but my HobbyLink Japan account does say the order is ready to ship…. and they’re just waiting on the payment…(DAMN PAYPAL!!) Why didnt they just ask for the easy Paypal payment which just goes through straight away???? :sigh: I’ll just have to wait and see….

Max Factory Haruhi Suzumiya vs Hatsune Miku Nendoroid

July 29, 2008

I’m having problems…. now that I FINALLY have a paypal account, I can buy from HobbyLinkJapan… I wanna test it out, see how long orders take to get to me…. and I will probably test it out with something not too expensive. Luckily, the Hatsune Miku Nendoroid is still in stock. Would be perfect to test out. BUT I’ve got limited funds right now, and the other must-purchase-soon item is the Max Factory Haruhi, which is discontinued(for the moment) and there is just one left on a site I like which a lovely person is holding back for me. Buying Hatsune would probably come to little over £20($40) or so, and buying Haruhi would be about £33($66) I think… I have enough for only one…. but how on earth do I choose?!! I dont know how long Hatsune will stay in stock… and there are many other things I want/need to buy!!!

Help me…. please….

(The Hatsune pic comes from the lovely ModeMoe blog)
