Front of the box. Was a bigger box than I expected too.
So I love this series. Unconditionally. Irrationally even. So much so, I went and preordered the game, which is currently only in Japanese. Not only that, it was the limited edition, with a drama CD which for the most part I won’t be able to understand XD. I considered preordering it on Amazon, but at that time they still didn’t ship games outside of Japan. So I went with Play-Asia. A site I’ve used before for things here and there. Never a game costing this much… I figured I was going to get smacked with a hefty import tax and VAT and what have you. So I prepared myself mentally. Hell. It was only shipped last week pretty much, 2 weeks tops, so I wasn’t expecting anything to arrive yet, usually Play-Asia’s shipping is pretty slow…. so you can imagine my shock and delight when it turned up this morning. No card saying ‘PAY THIS NOW’ or anything. It just appeared… it even had the full amount declared on the box, AND it was marked as Merchandise… not gift…. so I’m baffled as to why I didn’t get slapped with import tax. Not complaining. Just dazed and confused. Happily so. (More pics of the unboxing below the cut.)
I think I’m actually losing track of what I’ve got preordered… I remember quite a few things but without going through my emails I’m sure I’m forgetting something… I don’t even think it’s that many things…

I finally did it. I finally bought a PS VITA. I should have waited for the January sales probably, but finding a Vita during the post Xmas sales was hard enough… I was worried there just wouldn’t be any left… And since I mostly got money for Christmas, I’m calling it my Christmas present to myself XD Sad, but hey, I’ve wanted a Vita for ages. I just kept putting it off, and off, and off.
But now it’s mine. And it’s beautiful and shiny and lovely. I ordered a 64GB memory card which will arrive Wednesday, so I can move things from the diddy 8GB card it came with. I already have Danganronpa, Persona 4 Golden and Norn9. The latter of which I am currently playing and enjoying immensely, otome games with time travel bullshit in for the WIN! With bonus post apocalyptic stuff too kinda!! I’m almost through the first route I think… Wanted Masamune, couldn’t have him till I’d done Senri or Kakeru annoyingly. So I went with the Eren Jaeger-voiced character. Have a trailer/op for it!
Update: On Masamune’s route now, almost finished actually. Loving Toya ❤ he’s too cute.
Over Christmas I also ordered another Pikachu, because I wanted/needed the Charizard hoodie and card and the sounds. I called this one Denki ❤ And it arrived today. As is my 64GB memory card hopefully. But I shall wait and see.
Michiru, the blonde, is the one out of these 3 I like best. Amane on the right, super hard up girl. And Yumiko on the left, who brandishes a razor blade at the drop of a hat.
So I initially wasn’t going to continue with this. But after seeing some comments on Twitter about certain episodes and reading a little about the visual novel, I decided to give it another go. I’m still not sure if that was a good idea or not to be honest… after what happened…
I’m liking Sachi and Makina right now. Michiru is cool too. The girls I don’t like seem to be the most violent or hard up girls. But there are more, less main cast, girls to be introduced yet. We still need more on Yuuji’s backstory. That’s one of the things that intrigues me. The fanservice I can live with. I’ve weathered worse on the boobs and butts front of anime.

So I finally got to play Remember 11(last year now actually lol). Years after Ever 17. And Never7 is downloading right now. SO HAPPY. I didn’t realise there was a translation for Never7!! eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee. And today I saw 12Riven in the bookshop in Dinghai. In Chinese…. which is annoying… but…… if there was a patch, would that work? XD Not that my CD drive works anyway… XD
So Remember 11. For those of you who have no idea what I’m on about(and can’t be bothered to click the link lol), it’s a Visual Novel. It’s part of a series, it’s a thriller/scifi/psycho kinda game. I went into it all excited and like ‘eeeeeeeeeeeeee EVER 17 YAYAYAYAY’, and I was happy that you got to play as a girl, for part of it lol. It’s a nice change,(which is funny cos I also have Starry Sky Spring to play too :DDDD YAYS!!)
I’m not sure how much I wanna reveal about the story… in case you actually want to play it.. so I’ll try to like, avoid major plot points and story. So there will be some spoilers. Nothing too major I suppose now I think about it, but still. Spoilers for a game like this would be annoying to me lol. So you have been warned!!
The 5, most important girls of Clannad. Sad that Ryou's not there, but not a big fan of the Fujibayashi twins anyhow.
Rewatching Clannad for the third time with my little brother at the moment. Only just realising watching anime with someone can enhance viewing pleasure. Depending on the series or even episode. Comedies are good for groups, but when its an epic-sobfest, like so many of Clannad’s episodes are, it can be better to watch alone, so you can let yourself break down fully.
