I had no clue…. honestly no idea that this game had ANY relation to the Pinky Street figures AT ALL. I just thought they were cute character designs and a tad familar. I never thought they were Pinky Street for a minute…… I should have seen the resemblence… GAWD I’m clueless sometimes… In the UK, the game was released as Kira Kira Pop Princess. And in Japan there were two versions of Kira Kira Music Hour. I assume that the western version was just a combo of both, since the girls from both version covers are on the western front cover.
Same girl on the front of the UK cover. (Above)
I’ve always considered buying this when the price came down low enough, it was on £15 last time I checked. (Thats what I got Izumi – Legend of the Unemployed Ninja for too) But I bet I can wait till it goes down more, since it’s not the kind of game that will do horrendously well in the UK, is it? I’ll have a proper look in Gamestation next time I go to Norwich. Search through the 2nd hand stuff too, get the lowest price possible, since I need all the money I can for figures.
Time for some screenshots. The graphics actually look alright. And very cute. Alot better than I thought they would anyways.
Ooooo dancing. I like the idea of dance/rhythem games, but I havent really played one...
